Local & Sustainable Meat Sources

Living on a flood plain makes raising animals a risky endeavor for us. Luckily we have many great neighbors who have the land and passion for providing those things. Please explore these links for local, sustainably raised meat. All of the sources listed are one we know firsthand and trust.

Recipe of the week 5/4/12

Enjoy this recipe for Rhubarb Cake. Unlike most rhubarb recipes this is not overly sweet, unless you want it to be. I often vary the amount of sweetener to best fit my mood. This is a simple sweet bread with chunks of rhubarb mixed in. It makes a great snack for the kiddos.
