Join Our CSA
You may now sign up for the 2013 CSA! Weekly delivery begins in late June. Enjoy over 100 varieties of organically grown vegetables, strawberries, and herbs. Choose from our Full Season Share (18 weeks late June-October) or our Height of the Season Share (8 weeks early August-September). We also offer a Fall Share that picks up where the main season ends. Take advantage of an additional 4 weeks of the best that fall has to offer. Click for more CSA details including share sizes, pricing, delivery schedule, and pick-up locations.
Farmers Markets
At each of our markets we offer a wide variety of fresh produce, herbs, and strawberries as well as veggie and herb starts. You can also pick up your CSA share at our stall. Come see us!
Olympia Farmers Market We hope to be there by April 18th this season. Hours of operation are 10-3, Thursday through Sunday from April through October and on Saturdays and Sundays in November and December. Our stall is in the southeast wing of the market.
Tacoma Proctor Farmers Market We are there every Saturday from 9-2. This is a new market for us and we are very excited to be there.
Local & Sustainable Meat Sources
We can’t do it all so we are happy to put you in touch with those who do the things we can’t do. We have many great neighbors here in the valley and nearer to Olympia who do an amazing job raising animals in a respectful and conscientious manner. Please explore these links for local, sustainably raised meat. All of the sources listed are ones we know firsthand and trust.
Organic Vegetable Starts
We grow over 100 varieties of organic vegetable and herb starts in our own custom blend potting soil. Our starts are hardy and vigorous and are available at appropriate planting times for our area (that means no tomato plants in early April!) We want you to succeed, so we choose varieties that are known to do well here in the PNW. Visit our vegetable starts page to see a partial list of what we offer.
Crops for Canning & Storage
We offer bulk pricing on a wide variety of storage and canning crops. From strawberries to pickling cucumbers to winter squash, we can help you fill your pantry and root cellar to get you through the winter months. Call or email the farm for availability or to place your order. Orders can be picked up at the Olympia Farmers Markets, Yelm Farmers Market, at the farm, or at your CSA pick-up location. Go to our produce for canning and storage page and see what we have to offer.
Feature Recipe
It’s that time of year again for fresh rhubarb. You don’t need to wait for the strawberries to ripen to enjoy this unique and fleeting treat. Try this recipe for rhubarb cake. But if you really crave that rhubarb/strawberry combo try this recipe for strawberry rhubarb crisp. (HINT: You can freeze chopped rhubarb now and have it on hand when those berries finally ripen. Some years their season only overlaps for a few scant weeks.)
